This solar powered home built with recycled and new materials, rustic charm and modern facilities is situated on 20 acres in a peaceful haven 15 mins from Wanaka. We have stunning mountain views across rural Upper Clutha to Treble Cone and the Southern Alps. We are surrounded by picturesque landscapes with easy access to walking and biking tracks, the Hawea white water park for river surfing and Lake Hawea for fishing, swimming and boating and Wanaka with it's diverse restaurants, cafes and unique movie theatres.

In this first floor apartment we have 2 bedrooms, a lounge and a bathroom.
The Queen bedroom has a kitchenette and massive views over the Southern Alps.
The Twin room has 2 king single beds and the lounge has a pull out sofa bed and stunning views.
There is one bathroom and this is a first first floor property.
About Us
Come and experience an earth friendly hand crafted country home that is powered by the sun! Built with both recycled and new materials offering rustic charm with modern facilities. You will be staying upstairs, and the space consists of 2 bedrooms, a lounge and a bathroom. The Master Queen Room has a Kitchenette with toaster, electric jug and microwave. Continental breakfast is supplied in your room for you to eat at your leisure. Babies are welcome we have a port-a-cot.
You will have private access to the first floor of our home with your own bathroom and unlimited wifi access.
We have lived here for 30 years and love to share our extensive experience and knowledge of this beautiful area if you need guidance. Steve can be booked in advance for personalized tour packages in hiking, biking and tour leading.
As our power comes from the sun please be conscious of excessive use of high energy appliances eg. hair dryers.
Infants under the age of 12months are free.
We have a gorgeous pet goat and lambs that love to be petted and fed!
